RELIGIOUS FORMATION

Who am I? What am I doing here? What was I created for? Is there a purpose in life? Can I really ever be happy? These are among the questions that plague all of us as we journey through life. These questions lie at the base of our hearts and stir in us passionate longing to discover the answers. These questions happen to be at the root of what has brought you to us: discernment of a vocation to marriage. These core questions make up the basis of discernment because, really, what is the will of God for our lives? Our holiness and happiness. Our holiness and happiness reach their culmination in our life with Jesus Christ. Our entire human journey is the path toward this fulfillment, so in order to discern well, we must first know that our ultimate end goal is the heart of Jesus. The next question then becomes “how do I get there?” And this question is answered through our vocation.
